Developed by soITe.org and the Department of Punjabi, Punjabi University, Patiala, this keyboard layout lets you type Punjabi in Gurmukhi using the familiar Asees key mappings while producing clean, standards-compliant Unicode text. It’s ideal for users transitioning from legacy, font-dependent workflows to modern Unicode documents that display correctly across applications and devices.
